Margret Soko – Malawi

Margret, a registered Public Health Officer with the Medical Council of Malawi, has over eight years of experience in academic and preventative dimensions. Currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Livingstonia in Malawi, she specializes in Reproductive Health and is dedicated to addressing key challenges in the field.

Margret holds a Master of Health Sciences in Reproductive Health from the Pan Africa University of Life and Earth Sciences Institute (PAULESI), Nigeria, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Livingstonia, Malawi.

Margret’s dedication to Public Health extends beyond academia. She is a proud inaugural board member of Rise for Phoka, a community-based organization dedicated to promoting health and well-being in Malawi. She has also been actively involved in research projects and has presented her findings at various conferences and workshops. Her research interests include Adolescent health, maternal and child health, and mental health.

Margret is also a member of the Malawi Environmental Health Association (MEHA), committed to contributing her skills and knowledge to initiatives that enhance public health outcomes in Malawi and beyond.
