Franckline Sevidzem Wirsiy – Cameroon

Frankline is a global health expert with a decade of experience in development, research, global health security (GHS), advocacy, community mobilization, humanitarian work, and emergency response in both national and international domains.

With a doctorate in Public Health and a master’s degree in Epidemiology and Control of Infectious Diseases, his research areas include GHS, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS, immunization practice, mental health, AMR, climate change & health, maternal health, and health policy & systems.

He currently serves as the Community Mobilization Coordinator for the second Cameroon Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (CAMPHIA) Survey at the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Board (CBCHB), a US CDC/PEPFAR Funded Project.

He is also a reviewing editor for eLife Sciences Publications, a Consultant for GHS, Disease Control and Prevention at AMREF, and a GHS Consultant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA.
